Truck Report 4/27/2012

Good morning, WoolFans!

The Pendleton truck delivered hundreds of pounds of fuzzy, crafty fun for this week: 500 pounds of selvage, 150 pounds of wooly worms, and 200 pounds of blanket header. We've also got several bins full of premium wool strips from previous deliveries.

A little bit of everything! Have a crafty weekend.

Is there a more beautiful word than "Friday"? It's definitely one of our favorites.

The Pendleton truck has delivered a bounty of fun mill production scraps for your crafting pleasure: 250 pounds of fuzzy selvage and 150 pounds of wooly worms. Enjoy!

Creative Customers: Girl Scouts Bronze Award Project

A few weekends ago, we had a visit from Girl Scouts Jenny and Brianna. They were working on a Bronze Award project that is near and dear to our animal-loving hearts here at the Woolen Mill Store: making beds and toys to donate to the dogs and cats up for adoption at the Oregon Humane Society.

We were thrilled to give them a quick demo on making braided tug toys, and sent them off with two bags stuffed full of wooly worms for further toymaking.

Community Craft Night: This Wednesday

Do you ever wake up on a Wednesday morning and think: I wish I could just hang out and make stuff with the cool folks at the Pendleton Woolen Mill Store?

Wednesday, April 18 is your chance to get crafty with us! We're holding our monthly Community Craft Night on Wednesday from 5-7pm. (If you happen to arrive after 5:30, you can ring the doorbell and we'll let you in.)

Pack up a project in progress and join us for a little creative social time.

Just a reminder: the Woolen Mill Store will be closed on Sunday, April 8th in observance of the Easter holiday.
