Creative Customers: Girl Scouts Bronze Award Project
A few weekends ago, we had a visit from Girl Scouts Jenny and Brianna. They were working on a Bronze Award project that is near and dear to our animal-loving hearts here at the Woolen Mill Store: making beds and toys to donate to the dogs and cats up for adoption at the Oregon Humane Society.
We were thrilled to give them a quick demo on making braided tug toys, and sent them off with two bags stuffed full of wooly worms for further toymaking.

April Half Slice: Harding Sage
Have you heard about our new Half Slice program?
Each month, we'll offer a different "half slice" of fabric -- perfectly sized for smaller projects. What makes it a half slice? Our fabric rolls are 64" wide. Take a one yard cut and slice it in half and you get a Half Slice that measures 32x36. Swing by the Woolen Mill Store if you need inspiration, because we'll have a new sample project on display each month.
April's Half Slice is lovely lightweight jacquard Harding Sage. Our sample project is a quick and easy drawstring yoga bag -- a rolled up mat or towel will fit perfectly!
Get your April Half Slice for just $30. Call or visit the store for more details.
