Truck Report 3/30/2012

Good morning, Woolfans!

The month of March is drawing to a close -- and our March Madness sale ends with it. Saturday, March 31st is your last chance to take advantage of discounts on every single roll of fabric and every pre-cut table piece.

Our Pendleton truck has come and gone, leaving behind gifts for the craft-minded: 400 pounds of fuzzy selvage and 100 pounds of premium wool strips.

What will you make this weekend?

Crochet your cords! Armygurumi has a pictorial tutorial that will get you going. This great idea is going to make the backs of our computers a lot prettier.

Guitar String Bangles

This one is for the musicians and the crafty people who love them: what do you do with a busted guitar string?

Here's an idea from creative Canadian Danielle Griffin: turn them into fabric-wrapped bangles! This quick and easy project gives lightweight fabric scraps a new life, too. Check it out!

If you have any other ideas for saving broken guitar strings from the trash, we'd love to hear them.

Truck Report 3/16/2012

In the midst of all the madness, the Pendleton truck delivered 200 pounds of fuzzy selvage and 200 pounds of blanket header for your crafting pleasure.

Puppy Love!

Say hello to our newest four-legged friend, Tashy. (Hope we're spelling that right!)

We are always happy to have well mannered, leashed pups visit the store. Tashy would make a pretty good product model, don't you think? Or maybe an industrious spinner could make some yarn with all that fluffy fur...

Just a reminder: we've got our monthly Community Craft Night coming up on Wednesday, March 14th -- grab a project and come out for some social time while you work.

Have a great weekend!

Truckless Report 3/2/2012

Good morning, WoolFans!

We are truckless this week, since the big Pendleton truck went up to Puyallup for Sew Expo this weekend.

The bins of selvage (particularly blanket weight) and premium wool strips are still nice and full for your crafting pleasure.
