Pendleton Holiday Stocking
SAT 10/25, 10:00-12:00

What could be a better gift than a handmade holiday stocking crafted of Pendleton’s beautiful fabrics? In this class students will combine our classic jacquard fabrics and Pendleton’s New ColorPlay Wool for fun embellishments.
*Students will need to bring their own sewing machines.


NOVEMBER 2008
My Favorite Vest & Trunk Show
SAT 11/1, 9:30-1:30
Instructor: Pauline Richards
Cost $24/Materials $24

Treat yourself to a creative workshop & trunk show with Pauline Richards. Using Pauline’s “My Favorite Vest” Pattern, she will custom fit a vest to each participant and demonstrate a variety of binding and finishing techniques. Students will then be ready to embellish and bind their vests. Come prepared to be inspired by a trunk show of embellished garments. Cameras are welcome. Students will need a sewing machine, basic sewing supplies and thread to match their fabric & binding.

Pendleton Selvage Rug Crochet

Make this thick & comfy rug for any room in the house. A really big hook and a supply of wool selvages, gives you a beautiful pile rug in about the time it takes to watch your favorite movie.

Pendleton Teacup Skirt

Inspired by the shape of an upside-down teacup, this exclusive Pendleton pattern is a fun, fabulous original. The fabric is woven on our state-of-the-art jacquard looms with specially engineered circular stripes. Take home your own quick & easy one-piece casual wool skirt. Pendleton teacup skirt fits women’s sizes 4-20. *Students will need to bring their own sewing machines.

Needle Felting 101
SAT 11/15 1:00-4:00
Instructor: Linda Griepentrog

Learn the basics of felting, the tools needed and all about the fibers and yarns that work well for this fun and easy embellishment process. We'll talk about lots of project possibilities and you can make two small ones to take home with you. Instructor Linda Griepentrog served as editor of Sew News magazine for 19 years before venturing out on her own in the sewing & craft industry with her G Wiz Creative Services, based in Portland.

Clover® Trace ‘n Create a Bag

Making handbags has never been so easy, so simple & so much fun! Using Nancy Zieman’s Trace ‘n Create Bag system, you can personalize six different bag styles. The templates are reusable and illustrations & outlines are color coded for quick & easy reference. The sewing is simple & the results will leave you with a bag for every occasion.

Kid’s Needle Felting

Create several projects using simple tools & easy techniques including a framed art piece and a small pouch. Ages 10 and up.

Kid’s Handwoven Tote
SAT 12/13 9:30-12:30

Kids will use a simple loom and strips of fabric to create their own small tote. Ages 10 & up.

Purse Construction & Embellishment

Make two handbags in one afternoon. Master the basic zippered bag embellished with needle felting, appliqué & fabric piecing. This is a basic bag you’ll love to create again & makes great gifts!



Class size is limited so early registration is encouraged.
