A Grand Day

We had such a wonderful day at the celebration for our expanded store. We were so fortunate to have gifted authors and crafters in our store to demonstate and share their art.

Lillian Pitt was on hand to sign her beautiful blanket "Coyote and the Huckleberry Sisters" and to discuss her varied work.

Another artist and author, Linda Griepentrog, was on hand to demonstrate needle felting and sign copies of her book Needle Felting by Hand or Machine.

We are thrilled to have Linda joining us this spring to present workshops in needle felting.

Pat Spark shared her inspiring images and signed copies of Watercolor Felt Workbook and Making Faces.

Look for workshops with Pat this summer and see her work in the back gallery now.

Renee Steele showcased some of the terrific traditional wool crafts which were new to most visitors. Join Renee in learning Rug Hooking and Penny Wool this spring.

And Ari Grey was on hand to amaze EVERYONE who watched him create a rug from rag strips and wool selvages on his huge circular needles (size 1 billion).

more to come from our party....

Extreme Knitting

Join us at the Grand Opening on Saturday and see something REALLY special! Ari Grey will be demonstating his "EXTREME KNITTING" skills. I can't give too much away, but it does involve REALLY big needles (I mean REALLY big), rope (how else can you do extreme circular knitting?), and our selvage.
